At Mopinion we are looking for a Finance Manager for 32 – 40 hours/week. 

Mopinion is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) that collects and analyses user feedback on websites, mobile apps and email. Delivering a “seamless digital experience” is all about putting the Voice of the Customer at the heart of an organisation. Mopinion facilitates companies in achieving this customer-centric approach with ease. We work with well over 250 enterprise companies such as KLM, T-Mobile, Walmart, Renault and Allianz. To support our ambitions we are currently looking for an exceptional hands-on Finance Manager. Reporting to the Board, the Finance Manager will serve as a member of our senior leadership team with responsibility for all aspects of the global finance department.

This is a high visibility role required to engage cross-functionally and maintain strong communications and relationships with other Mopinion leadership, external stakeholders and partners. This role is expected to identify best practices across their areas of responsibility and deliver proactive insights, roadmaps, and solutions across the organisation. We value strategic and analytical insight, at all levels of the organisation, and will depend on your work to achieve the extraordinary. 

Responsibilities (what you’ll do)

  • Analyse and present financial statements in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly and annual financial results;

  • Active participation in influencing company direction, growth, strategic planning, and financial forecasting as a member of the senior management team;

  • Develop and manage strong, collaborative relationships with business leaders across the organisation to drive business outcomes in line with Mopinion strategy and key priorities;

  • Oversight and leadership of quarterly and annual budgeting and planning process; administration and review of all financial plans and budgets; monitoring of progress and changes to keep senior leadership team abreast of the organisation’s financial status;

  • Directing all aspects of finance operations, looking to optimise and enhance the finance operations;

  • Update and implement all necessary business policies, accounting practices and financial controls;

  • Known for developing and managing high performing teams, fostering collaboration, and creating a culture to stay ahead of the growth curve;

  • Treasury and cash management with preferable experience of working with government subsidies (WBSO).

Requirements

Qualifications (what you have):

  • 5+ years of financial experience;

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; Masters in Accounting or MBA strongly preferred;

  • Strong communication skills and ‘getting-things-done’ mentality;

  • Fluent in Dutch and English;

  • Super skills with Google Sheets, DataStudio and/or Excel;

  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;

  • Experience with Exact and Salesforce;

  • Preferably experience with SaaS metrics and KPI’s.

We are a team of nearly 40 employees, working in the city centre of Rotterdam, close to Blaak and the market.
